I was wondering what might be out there in the way of junking the manual steer/hydraulic assist in my truck with a crossover style setup. I did a search here and on the net in general and found several good articles that would replace my steering with a 77-79 type, however that still is a push-pull steering w/ a draglink. I don't know for sure on a Ford ( but I'm sure its the same) I know from experience that on solid axle chevy's and toyota's with a fair bit of suspension lift, the draglink becomes a limiting factor in terms of geometry and articulation. I guess the point is my wife wants it big, but still wants to park at wal-mart!! Thanks!
