Well, after about 16 hours of hard labor, the body lift is complete. Check out the pics in my gallery. Overall, I am pleased with the Performance Accessories kit and would recommend it. However, I am not real happy with the front bumper relocation bracket. It did not move the bumper up far enough, which leaves about a 1 1/2" gap between the front bumper and grill. I am waiting on a response from P/A on this. If they can not help me out, I will probably end up custom making the brackets. Anyway, pics are in my gallery, let me know what you think!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 03-Sep-02 AT 01:59 PM (EST)]i ran into this same problem.... a Mary Matli (matli@performanceaccessories.com) in customer service at PA helped me through this problem....
Looks good let me know what you have to do to get the bumper back up. My suspension lift (superlift 4") came with spacers to move the bumper forward about 5/8". I'd like a body lift too so let me know what you have to do so i can see if it will work with my setup.
Thanks and again sharp truck.
It appears that there was a revision to the bumper bracket install step which occured after the directions for the kit were printed. So Performance Accessories was supposed to slip an addendum into the box that outlined the revised procedure, but did not get included in my kit for some reason. So they faxed one to me. Basically I will have to cut off the lower portion of the bumper bracket that is welded to the frame, and drill additional holes in it. Doesn't sound too difficult. I will take pictures and let you guys know how it turns out.

Although it doesn't look like it is even close in the picture, my truck does still fit in the garage. Although, I do only have about 3/4" to spare on my clearance lights. It will be interesting this winter, I will have to do an extra good job on making sure that ice/snow do not pile up in front of the garage.

Yeah, that F7 is gonna be a hot one. I have a buddy that has one on order. I have been eyeing the new REV's, but I don't think my pocket book will let me after buying the new truck. The sled in the picture was actually bequethed to my wife. I picked up a wrecked 2002 MXZX 440 last winter that I am fixing up for myself. The guy didn't even have a tank full of gas through it, and he peeled a culvert. Surprisingly, it has been a pretty easy fix. Just don't have any good pics of it yet. Think snow!

I finished the bumper mods today. I had to cut the bottom of the bumper mounts off and drill new holes, and also notch the bottom of the bumper to clear the spring hangers. I added some pics of these steps to my gallery. While I was at it, I also drilled holes in the top of the frame to allow me to bolt the tow hooks back up. Now, I just need to add my gap guards and I'll be all set.
