Try turning the wheels to the left about a turn and a half, or more, that should allow for pretty good access from the side, if it is any thing like my 02 5.4l.

Thanx, I can get a pair of oil filter pliers snaked in there around the control arm and get it pretty good, just dont get very much of a turn on it. Im hoping it wont be so tight since I put the last liter on it.
