mrw1125....... Go to this thread, read completely…. and post. Follow MLF250’s format
ODOMETER reading at time of problem is critical.
In addition, please read more instructions, bottom of first page, posted by Tim L
Tell as many as you can about this thread.
The simpler the writing (posting) of “problem/odometer” reading………….the easier it will be to collate. Do not need many words. I must reduce all the date into a usable format; extra words will take more time to complete.

free from ford, get them done if you are having issues....
i am having some of the issues but they are really no big deal my main question is that i have heard of louder noise after getting a flash and i wanted to know if the newest flash causes louder noise or any other bad afterfects like lower power or loss of fuel economy
The October flash did cause loss of power and fuel economy. The latest, December, flash seems to have brought the power back. I don't know about the fuel economy yet. I haven't run it enough to get a calculation on it.
Yes, it is slightly louder at cold idle and cold acceleration, other than that it's ok.
If you aren't having problems, don't fix it. If you have some naggy idle issues, flash it.
A reflash gets rid of any problems your truck might have. If you have rough idle, poor milege, etc, a reflash will reprogram your truck. It fixes the problems Ford has determined its trucks have. it isnt always the magic bullet, it wont fix everything. Ford is still working out all the problems.
