Drunk, why are you asking us to pick on you and your fellow statesmen?

I didn't know there were enough left to bash. So many have moved to NV and AZ to ruin those states with more is better, instant gratiffication and bigger government I thought maybe things were getting better in CA.

Califonia traffic sucks!

And why do you vote for so many whacky politicians. (Boxer, Waxman, Fienstien)

And why pay so much for electricity?

lately, I've noticed some bashing in several other threads, and figured I'd get it out in the open.I think its kind of amusing how some states are perceived by others.
some CA natives are oblivious to how we are veiwed as a bunch of dope smoking, treehugging, free love, cell phone junkie, uber liberal, freaks.
of course, as much as they talk about us , they DO love to watch us. I was very surprised to talk to people on the east coast, who watched more of our recent gubinatorial debates than most californians had.

I actually rather like California. I think it's one of the most beautiful states we have.

It's not like the other states don't have resident nut-jobs. Just for some reason they seem more prevalent and conspicuous in Cali.

Can't say I'm in favor of a lot of the state politics out there, but since I've chosen not to live there, I figure it's none of my business.

I lived in California for a while...... not sure why people bash. I guess it just comes from some of the political decisions that are made there... who knows. I do believe there should be two states there, North California and South California....

There are. I've been a resident of both and numbers ares still what count, so SoCal somewhat dominates things.

Two reasons:

1. California politics are more entertaining than any sitcom...

and

2. Here in Colorado a lot of the bashing is due to the high influx of California exiles bringing their brand of politics and lifestyle to the state, rather than assimilate into the Colorado culture, lifestyle, and especially politics.
