Neutral Start Switch Bypass?
Before I start figuring out which wires control what.....does anyone know how to bypass a neutral start switch on a 1989 F150, 5 speed? This is the switch that is located on the push rod going from the clutch pedal to the master cylinder.
Thanks!

Take the two wires off the switch and connect them together and insulate them with electrical tape or shrink wrap.

My Haynes manual shows three wires. Anyway, you have to connect them all together. My manual shows a grey-yellow, a red-lt blue and a red-lt blue.

wires
Two wires are to kick the cruise control off. If I remember right the blue is for the nuetral safety switch. I splice in an intermitten micro-switch and hide it in a hidden location that you can reach from the drivers seat. You then have anti-theft for $1.49. Plus get 10% off your insurance and people can't steal your truck even with the keys in the ignition. Works great.
