1993 E4od vs 1995+ E4od

Well, I'm finally going to bite the bullet and take the truck in for a tranny rebuild. I remember reading that Ford improved the E4od in 1995. Does anyone know what the upgrades were? I wanted to make sure those steps are taken when this one gets rebuilt. Thanks

Something to do with the selonoids i think.

Something about a stronger center support, better torque converter and I know there were a few other parts that were updated. The solenoid pack is different, they added or removed diodes in 1995, can't remember which. The diodes are in the main computer if they aren't in the solenoid pack for whatever year.

Yes, I believe the solenoid pak is different on the 95, I just had my 95 tranny put into my 94 and the plug on the soleniod pak is a different style. Hed to change the pack.
