programming new remotes

Does anyone know how to program remotes specifically a 350 'F 8 D B-15K601-A' three button factory version? I had to put spaces between the first four characters since a smiley kept popping up where the 8 D were.

Unless they have changed things the process is as follows: Turn ignition switch from off (not lock) to ignition on (not start) eight times in ten seconds, ending in the on position. If this is done properly the doors will lock and then unlock. Press any button on the keyfob to program it. If successful the doors will lock and unlock again. Repeat this process for all other keyfobs. Good luck!!!!

Forgot you had to get out of the car to check it but finally dawned on me. Thanks you saved a trip or call to the dealer. Merry Christmas

I have unfortunately lost my key fob and key in the snow over the Christmas holiday's - fortunately I had my spare attatched to the vehicle -- the dealer will charge me 120.00 to replace the key and key fob. I found key fobs on ebay that are similar and again forgetful me did not copy the information from the back of my original key fob - anyone have idea's where to get spare keys and if any of above programming is different for an expedition '99, let me know -- thanks.
