. . fuzzy slips quietly in and says:

" did the world not exist before the formation of Christianity?"

From what I have read I got the clear impression man was not "invented" first.

P.S. Man's days are 24 hours long. I do not recall that as being God's definition. Am I mistaken?

The world has been in existence long before humans ever inhabited it. Remember dinosaurs? Well the world has been here even before dinosaurs. Christ was born 2003 years ago. Chridtianity came into existence after the birth of Christ. All those year labeled B.C. is time before Christ hence before Christianity!

And, as matter goes, our planet is a fairly new addition within this galaxy. It would seem a little pompus to declare certain bits of mythology existed 'before anything'.

Here are some sites that speak to the age of the earth and when humankind first inhabited the planet.

http://pubs.usgs.gov/gip/geotime/age.html

http://www.wcsscience.com/toiletpaper/history.html

You will notice that scientists agree that the earth can into existance about 4.5 billion years ago and evidence of homo sapien existence showed up about 100,000 years ago.

Christianity (a religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ) began some time after Jesus' death. Here is one early history of Christianity. http://www.xxicentury.org/polish/beginnings.html

Note the earliest date mentioned is 890 (that is 890 A.D.) which is 1113 years ago.

when I am a guru can I start a religeon?
When you are a guruji, you may find you don't need to start a religion. The truth will have become self evident. Ya know, become one with the law and the law becomes void, that sorta thing.

Turn all the ***** you like!
