I'll be happy to program a chip for his application.
You previously posted "It will not work, It may run but dangerously lean". I offered to help the person out saying we could probably set him up with something like what we are working on. Now you can do it????? Like I said, we were trying to help the guy out, not endanger your profit margin.

I also posted a link to a site where 521 may have been able to get some help with his setup as well and that link was deleted. All I was doing was trying to give 521_Ford a little help....which was all he was asking for.
Thanks for all of the help, I always appreciate it. I think I've finished with my research however. The guys that are building the motor seem to think I have a good solution thanks in part by the help and ideas that were posted here. Here is my solution:
I talked with Ken this morning over at Motorhaven.com and faxed him a custom tune sheet along with my motor build up sheet. We agreed because of the o degree grind cam, and the pre 73 timing set, the motor will not run too well, or at all on the stock ECM because the computer will be spraying fuel at the wrong times.
I'm going with a 3 program Diablo chip. the first program is going to be an economical program for cam burn in, and "other" CA things. The second program is going to be an aggressive performance program. and the 3rd is going to be future.
Christmas for me is coming in February when I get to turn the key over on my project!
Is anyone familiar with a Dyno shop in N. California. They appear pretty scarce around my area (non-existant really). I want to do a dyno pull or two to get some accurate air & fuel charts once I have the first chip from Ken. Since I'm not familiar with Dyno machines, I would have to a think I will have to find one that can accommodate an Exteneded cab long bed?
