Blinkers Busted Help

Ok, I have a 1977 ford f100 stepside.

For some reason my blinkers aren't working.
The T/S indicators or even work & I dont have a clue what to do.

The guy at an autoparts store told me to change the signal's fuse, but the truck is so old that it doesnt tell me were it is.

The names are rubbed off does anyone know were i can get a manual for free online or can someone like scan a copy of the fusebox in your manual so i can see which fuse i need to replace?

Should be a 15amp fuse 3rd from the top on the rh side when looking at the panel.
It also feeds the windshield washer and backup lights...are they working?

I have my 1978 F-100 in the shop right now with similar turn signal problems. Left sides don't function or show on the dash, but the right side does. How does the turn signal stalk feel when you are trying signal? Mine feels sloppy, like there is no detent for right, center or left.

So do the windshield washer and backup lights work now?
If they do try the flasher unit for the turn signals next, you can always swap it with the emergency flasher one. Do the emergency flashers work? How about the brake lights?
If that doesnt fix them it is time to start some voltage checks......do you have a test light or a multi-meter?

had a very similar problem last week. both were working, then the right side quit working, inside, outside, all together. left side worked like normal, and so did the hazzards. then about 2 days later, the left side quit working. took the steering wheel off, pulled the plate with the t/s switch, hazzard switch, etc out and found the blue wire coming from the t/s switch was broken. fixed the wire, now everything works perfect again. just a thought.
