'85 Ranger Bogs on Acceleration
My '85 Ranger 2.8L has a wicked bog on accleration that I've fought for many years now, to no avail. I've rebuilt the carb and had rebuilt many times with no success. The engine is tuned and it has a new distributor correctly timed. The engine runs fine, but it really tries to die on acceration from a stop, but really at any time the acceleration is depressed more than a little.
Any ideas?
