Would anybody have a picture showing the linkage. I put a edlebrook 750 on Eeyore and can't seem to get the full throw. It the origional that was on the 2 bl. I think I have it on wrong. If you know of a picture let me know. Thanks Billemc
I put an Edlebrock 600 on mine. Having the same problem. Another user directed me to the www.lokar.com site. Looks like its worth the $$$ to me. Just my opinion though!
Take all the garbage linkage off that the original carb had.
Either buy some nice heim ends and threaded rod to make a straight linkage, or bend yourself a nice rod from a coathanger or welding rod. Been there, done that.
I'm there with you guys. I solved this by using the single rod off of a '77. It worked great. It's adjustable and fits perfectly. Only cost me $2 at the local junk yard. I also was able to eliminate the "squirel cage" setup that was the original and worn out on mine.
Thanks for the input guys. Sounds like I need to quit scratching my head and redesign it. Since its a standard I don't have to be concerned with the kickdown part of it. Appreciate the replys. I posted pictures of the engine installed and running in my forum.
