Differential Questons

I am doing the body and paint now, I have addressed all mechanical issues with the exception of the rear end. I know I need some sort of posi-trac or limited slip. I have looked in Jags and others but don't really know what I am looking for. I am running a 390 with upgrades (cam, 60 over, 750 carb, electronic egnition ect.) The stock 3 speed column shift is what I have chosen to keep. Any ideas on a rear end would be appreciated. As much as I have tied up into this truck I don't want to use used parts, I would rather have new, performance equipment. thanks for any ideas. Billemc

you just need standard ford 9'' parts. pretty easy to find. if you want a whole new rear end give currie industries a call.

My Diff. is fine, I just think it might need some help with the increased power. And I dought it has any kind of traction control. Billemc

Anything can break, but the stock 9" will take anything the 390 can throw under normal daily driving conditions.
Drag racing with slamming gears could require a custom built unit. IMHO
