Do any of you have a truck with a stock FoMoCo spotlite? I am looking for the approximate location. I could probably get close enought with a photograph. Thanks Billemc
My truck had a spotlight in it when I got it. Aftermarket of course.. I left it out because I couldn't bring myself to tear a hole in my nice dashpad for it. I didn't know they had factory spotlights.
Go to UnityUsa.com They still make the spotlight you're referring to, although it says "Unity" where it used to say FOMOCO. Click on the template link and they will send you a template for your vehicle for free.
I replaced my old pitted chrome spotlights with the Unity ones last year. Paid $245.00 for the pair. They are IDENTICAL to the originals, right down to the original mounting brackets and hardware. The inside twist handle is a little softer rubber than the orignial hard plastic ones but it still maintains the same look as the original. I just put the old hard plastic twist handles from the orignals on the new spotlights to keep the nostalgic look.
If you still want the photos send me a PM. I have a bunch of photos thay my son took as he removed one at a wrecking yard. Took some measurements too. If you don't mind, please post your experience and how it goes with the template if you choose to use it.
