exhaust sound
has anyone put a stack on a 6.0 powerstroke and what does it sound like. do yall think it would sound very good or not. i have lots of friends with 7.3 with stacks and cummins and i know that i will not get the exact sound that they do but i am curious. i have taken my exhaust off past the converter and have it all in tack[just loosened the clamp and took all rubber brackets loose] can not hear anything but a distinctive whistle and a very good deep sound when the truck is cranked. please reply with any info on the subject and any ideas, credics,ect.

I would like to hear what a 6.0 sounds like with a stack, it would sound very good with a 4in down pipe and exhaust with out a converter or muffler, with a 41\2in crome stack. man that would be cool. I say go for it, stacks sound real good if you have a slider, so you can open when you want to hear it and close it when you don't, I had a stack on a 300 and it was loud and sounded like a tractor, but I could close the slider and have no noise in the truck, nice in mean in town and quiet and relaxing on the highway. It would be bad a$$, some one on here has to have one or know of someone that does!!!
