My drivers' side Warn hub lock is froze up. Looks kinda beat up. I'm ordering some new ones and am wondering if there's anything else I should worry about. Could the hub be damaged? Any odds and ends that don't come with I might need? Any advice to save me some stress?
Thanks!
Love the Warn hubs, but the six allen bolts might fight you coming off. I’ve seen them snap off in the aluminum. Not a big deal at all if you’re replacing the warn hub. In the past I’ve replaced the bolts with stainless ones and some antisieze.
With any selectable hub I don’t think it’s a bad idea to go through them every year or so and just give them a good once over especially if you live in salty winter conditions like I do. YMMV.
