My overdrive light has been flashing recently and the truck is shifting rough. Most people are telling me that my transmission is shot, but, the truck isn't slipping gears or nothing. I don't know if it could be the modulator or a vaccuum problem, I'm completely
stumped and was wondering if anybody has had these problems and could give me a few suggestions.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
The flashing light means that there is something wrong with the transmission system. It could be the transmission, a sensor, or a wiring problem.
You need to have someone read the code that is stored in the computer to find out what caused the problem. It isn't a vacuum or modulator problem because your transmission doesn't use either.
