Retrofit Source? Body parts supplier or something?
Appreciate the offer on the fogs, keep it in mind.
No Sir, The Retrofit Source is a seller of headlights, foglights and other light components for Morimoto and other manufacturers. But I am also a dealer for Keystone Automotive (over 2,300 brands) and Rough Country
Maybe that didn't sound right from me..... I just dont think a guy like you that takes care of your truck will be happy with it in the long run. We have tons of used headlights on Marketplace for cheaper than new aftermarket if you didn't think to check there.
Well, brand new aftermarket shipped to my door was $115, and I've bought it and installed it so it is on there for the duration now.
The time to have made a suggestion on it would have been back when I first posted this thread.
I still need a complete bumper, and have been scouring all sources looking for one for cheap.
Heck, after looking around some, I am thinking about replacing both headlight assemblies.
Can get a pair of LED assemblies with harnesses, modules and the resistors built in for lots less than I thought.
I can be like one of those guys that are always blinding me with their misaligned LED lights that they don't dim the high beams on!
To be fair, this is a FORD problem, not a user problem (if you are talking about factory). My F350 with 2000lbs of tongue weight (rated for over 3500lbs) squats so much that my LEDs blind people. Ford should've made the headlights adjustable like the Toyota's, or put better suspension on these trucks so they don't squat so much with only a fraction of their total GVWR. Now it's up to the end user to go an buy timbrens or airbags to level out the truck. I'm not sure why the headlights can't be auto-levelling? Seems pretty easy to make to self adjusting headlights. #end of rant.

If you have HD or snowplow front springs I would just throw some 2019 blocks in the rear. Would look fine.

I was just talking about guys driving unloaded with super bright lights, or high beams, not dimming them or having them very mis-aimed.
I have learned to never use cheap aftermarket headlight assemblies. The reflector buckets are never the same as OEM, the lenses are thinner and the UV coating will begin peeling within a year. OEM only headlight assemblies for me.
I agree. They will fade and turn yellow...or cloud over quickly. They are also prone to getting moisture inside them and fogging up.
I need to replace the aftermarket headlight on my Mazda that has turned yellow and clouded up after just 4 years (I didn't install it).
Had the collision happened half a second later she would have hit the side of my truck, I'd be extra pissed then!
I've driven probably two million miles professionally, and this is my first deer hit.
well over 2 million pro miles here also drove for the long gone CARRETTA ,BUT i'd rather hit a deer than a MOOSE while in a cab over, deer between the wife and self the number is 7 , with one while driving home with a brand new expolder less than a hour old.
