Heck, after looking around some, I am thinking about replacing both headlight assemblies.
Can get a pair of LED assemblies with harnesses, modules and the resistors built in for lots less than I thought.
I can be like one of those guys that are always blinding me with their misaligned LED lights that they don't dim the high beams on!
Sounds like you've already made up your mind! Swapping the whole assembly makes sense in your case, especially after the front-end damage. Hope the install goes smooth and everything works out for you.

No, I ordered the standard replacement headlight assembly.
Finding the best deal on a bumper is next.
Sorry to hear of your troubles but it looks like you’re on your way to getting her all fixed up. Good thing you don’t have LED headlights they are pricy.
My truck is nearly 5 years old now, and I have always taken great care of its appearance, been very careful to keep it looking good.
Up to now, a good detail job done on it and you'd never think it was 5 years old and has 280,000 miles on it.
Early on it got damaged at the dealer quick lane oil change, and had extensive body work, brought it back to like new, since then not even a door ding.
Well, that changed on this past Saturday night, got into a crash.
Travelling along US31, a ways south of South Bend Indiana, I was in the left lane passing slower traffic...
Suddenly, out of the median brush, a deer came flying out and crashed into my truck!
She hit my truck on the left front with her right shoulder, and hit it HARD.
Now, my pretty truck is bent and damaged...
Actually, looking at it now, I was pretty lucky it wasn't much worse.
Bent the end of the bumper, knocked the foglight out, broke the headlight lens.
Was able to keep going, headlight still works, although out of focus and aim.
Very little, if any, damage to the fender or anything else.
Booger is my insurance deductible is a grand, so I may just try and find a used bumper and headlight housing and try and fix it myself.
However it gets fixed, it is going to wipe out any profit from my trip though.
I have a set of brand new Morimoto LED fog lights for $150, if you wish to purchase them. They are NOS when I purchased two sets by mistake. I am also a Retrofit Source dealer, so if you find something you like on their site, let me know and I will give you dealer cost.
Well, the new headlamp assembly just showed up.
It is amazing how good it looks for how cheap it was.
I have not looked up the cost of a new OEM unit, but they are probably $600???
This brand new one I got off ebay was only $115 SHIPPED!!!
Complete with bulbs, bolt it on and go for such a small amount? WOW.
Booger now will be if it looks so much better than the passenger side, I might have to replace it too!

Retrofit Source? Body parts supplier or something?
Appreciate the offer on the fogs, keep it in mind.
I have a big Road Armor front bumper on and whacked a good size Mule deer last year. Absolutely demolished the deer and the bumper suffered nothing at all.I thought for sure with the hellacious noise it made on impact I would have some sort of damage. Just some blood and fur on the bumper. That was a worthwhile upgrade.

Yeah, as I said, I really don't want all that extra weight and hate the looks of those big things.
So, I will have to take my chances some more.
Hopefully go another million or two miles without another hit.
Keep trying to work it out to fully retire, get away from all these long trip highway miles.
So, finally got wound up a little and started the repair of my truck, got the new headlight housing installed.
Holding off on the bumper until I come across a really great deal on one.
At least the headlight is back to weatherproof.
Video is a little long and I cut a lot out!
I have learned to never use cheap aftermarket headlight assemblies. The reflector buckets are never the same as OEM, the lenses are thinner and the UV coating will begin peeling within a year. OEM only headlight assemblies for me.

Maybe that didn't sound right from me..... I just dont think a guy like you that takes care of your truck will be happy with it in the long run. We have tons of used headlights on Marketplace for cheaper than new aftermarket if you didn't think to check there.
