Got this truck 2023 f600 new a year ago and the tpms and key fob have been working fine. We are now getting no tpms pressure on dash with a flashing light, and no keep fob working. I'm getting tpms codes and rtm module offline codes. Flow chart brings me to check the r t m module itself. But when I go to the location, it's not even installed on this truck. There's just a loose pigtail there and mounting spot. The wire colors are correct. The pigtail has power and ground. How was this originally working if there's no rtm module installed? Can't find any information about ford changing the way this system works. Anyone seen this before?
It's not even an option on the f550s, I probably would have ordered it on my 24 models if it was.
It just became an option on the f-450 PU's for the new models.
I figured out that for some reason on the f 600 the r t m module is located down on the frame. All other trucks put it either up in the headboard or in the overhead console. Even all data told me it was up in the headboard. But there was just a loose pig tail up there, and then another harness running to the R. T m module on the frame with a completely different connector that was not on any diagrams. Either way i got it all working.
