Install complete! took about 40 minutes to install.
Before install DTE
After the install the DTE went from 375 to 656. We'll see what it goes to when I fill up next time.
Raymond,
Thanks. I’m also wondering what the DTE will show on a full tank. I seen a you tube video of someone who had S&B install a proto-type version of the module, but the DTE only went to 914 miles on a full tank of fuel. Based off my truck, a full fill should hit around 1020 miles. I plan on ordering one in the next few weeks, once this “deep freeze weather” get under control here in Michigan.
I just got mine in today. I'll echo @Raymond , install took me 35-40 minutes. Pretty straightforward and easy. I have a 55gal Titan tank and this will be close enough.
S&B hit a home run on this module. Was wondering if the module would go over 999, and it did by FDNYL196 results.
I will be getting mine ordered this weekend.
Thanks to the ones who got their installed and reported the good results.

You DO comprehend that your DTE is specific to YOUR truck and is based on your most recent driving habits, patterns, environment, fuel, etc., right? There is no one single "this is the right DTE for a full tank" number.

Good point on driving habit. I forgot that part of the equation. Thanks
Could you guys let me know why you are choosing to spend hundreds of dollars on an electronic module instead of using ForScan to modify the DTE calculation?

It's not effective on the 23+ trucks. You can fix the DTE in the vehicle through the engineering test mode on the dash, but it also influences the MPG calculation. So you can have MPG "right" and DTE wrong, or DTE right and MPG wrong, or with this module have both.

The max value of 48 gallons is hard coded in the firmware.
There are a couple threads that discuss it. DTE 24 2024 DTE
