I used one on my 2015, against the advise of a friend who ones a mobile diesel service company. The selector seemed counter to what it was supposed to do. About 2 months after installation, my truck started throwing a bunch of codes, likely NOT related to the stealth module. Sold truck shorty after to upgrade to a DRW. Have not replaced the Stealth module with anything and probably won't. If I had to do it again, I would save the money and spent it on Scotch ( since then, I have also stopped drinking).
The Stealth Module seems like an earlier technology, similar to the newer Banks Pedal Monster. But, without the benefits that Banks provides (more flexibility, interfacing with iDash, phone app). Plus, the PM is cheaper.
Edit: On second thought, perhaps it's more like the Banks Derringer. Banks has some comparisons of the Derringer against Stealth and others on their web site, interesting read.
The Stealth just adds fuel... that's it... but you decide. There's more videos out there on this subject. Once again, YMMV... for 650 bucks, I'd be buying a Derringer that hooks up to the OBD2 port and gets all the PID data from the ECM.
A friend of mine had one on his truck and really liked it. It was a 2017 6.7L Lariat. I've researched them quite a bit, seems like a good unit. The reviews on their website look good, but I wouldn't expect them to be bad... It's an expensive unit but I think it does allot more than just a throttle adjustment like a pedal commander or the like. Probably worth a shot. Buy one @cpobst and let us know what you think!
Seems like a waste. The SO is already pumping out 475HP and 1050 torque. You just need to access it to wake it up. A Pedal Monster is a night and day difference. Heck I find the traction control is my major hiccup now. Doesn't take much to break all 4 rear tires off the ground. Some day I will get in trouble while passing someone, easily goes from 50 to 80 or more.
I am waiting for Banks to crack the PCM so they can get the Derringer working. 2019 was the last year the Derringer worked. Heck I don't even think I need it, the PM woke this truck UP!
I bought into the hype early on and bought a DuraMileage box, IIRC, and had one installed... I still have it but removed it once I dove deeper into it. I'll remove the cover and show you what you will be getting for 650 bucks... not much. There's very little to these "modules." I'll post up later...
Yep... here's the video I saw back then. Same concept as the Stealth...
The instructions that came with the module... hooks up the fuel sensor at the end of the fuel rail IIRC...
The harness to intercept the fuel sensor signal... there's also the switch but that's it...
There's no seal at all... the box just fits into the groove on the bottom of the plate that has the circuit board on it...
I forget what I paid... maybe $375 but looking at this, this is the same exact set up as the Stealth box. Two connectors and a switch... i cannot see how adding more fuel, for more power, will increase your mileage... because it won't.
IMHO, $650 or even the amount I paid is a ripoff... they are making crazy bank for what it cost to build that circuit to just increase the fuel delivered... to add more power... which your ECM will not see, the extra fuel that is...
Thank you for taking the time and trouble to open up the module and take photos of the insides, as well as the photos of the harness connectors and the instruction manual.

Regardless of your or anyone else's opinion about the product, you enabled folks to see what it is inside of what is otherwise marketed as a black mystery/magic box. And that type of insight is always fun to see.

Yes Sir... and you're welcome... just trying to pass along info as always and of course, everyone's MMV...
I have the Banks Pedal Monster on my 19. I helps alot, and has built in safety features. One is the PM reverts back to stock when in reverse. And if it ever fails, it reverts back to stock, and you can still drive. I like the fact that is monitors engine parameters, and wont allow it to cause damage to the engine. I think it keeps stock settings until about 165 degrees, Going by memory, but you get the point.

Right on... I have the PM and the Derringer tuner. PM makes the truck feel like a different beast.... So are you saying you have the Derringer also?

I hate to see someone pay a ridiculous amount of money for plastic "module" that contains a simple and cheap circuit that just adds more fuel downstream of the ECM which could potentially cause problems IMHO.
