Hi, my 89 f-150 before the fuel pumps died in it was throwing a check engine light then it wouldn't sometimes. Ran the codes got a code for EGR and a System Lean code. And once the light would come on it would run really off. I went under and checked the oxygen sensor the wire for it is snipped at the sensor. Still a connector on the harness. Does the sensor control the EGR? Tells the EGR to open is the the EVR only?

One of the O2 sensor wires is cut or all of them? Does what sensor control the EGR? What were the code numbers?
Dentside Lover is the OP so is DentsideFan the same person?
Yeah. I couldn't connect to my other email for the account the other one is under my work email only on my work computer. Its dumb. It would be nice to have it all under 1 email but work emails are goofy.

The engine needs to be up to operating temperature. What test did you do? There are codes that can be active engine off, stored or engine running codes so what are they? Dynamic Response is an engine running code and you don’t do that test until you have repaired all the engine off fault and get a system pass (code 11) from the KOEO test.

From the Innova 3145 manual:
I jumped the connector from the grey one to the black connector on the EEC test. I think I did the one on the bottom. Its been a while since I ran the test. Still working on getting a new fuel pump in it. These were before the pump died.
