i have a motorcraft2100 and this morning i was going to go to school but then i noticed that my car did not want to turn on. in the past it has always been my carb. the carb has been rebuilt a whuile ago and is running good . the problem is that it just needs tuning....... any replies would help. thx
Yeah Bubba, that's a tough one to diagnose!!!! My first off the wall, non informed guess would be that the temp dropped and the choke is too tight. But, I could be way off base. We will have to wait for more info.

It is very hard to tell whether the problem is fuel related or an electrical problem without knowing more details. But having problems this time of year would make sense that the choke is acting up.
it turns over and sputters a litlle with me pushing the gas down it had electronic ignition . i am thinkinig that it is the choke because as soon as the day warms up it runs fine.
Sounds like the choke pull-down might need adjustment.
You can test the choke pull-down by applying a vacuum to see if the diaphragm holds vacuum. If it leaks, replace it.
You should adjust it to open the choke plate about 1/10" to 1/8" when vacuum is applied. The pull-down adjustment screw is on the back of the diaphragm chamber (2150 carbs) or on the bottom of the diaphragm chamber (2100 carbs).
