Heater Temp Control Actuator Door
Howdy, my temp actuator door has decided to stop working properly. It’s the actuator that is at the left foot of the passenger - I can grab ahold of it and wiggle it a bit to make it engage and work correctly, but that only works for a few minutes. Yes, it’s loose, but I have no tool for removing or tightening this actuator - special Ford tools are needed as there is no room for standard tools to get up in there.
Has anyone found a solution? Local Ford shop will charge $280 to tell me what I already know, then lord knows how much for parts and labor!
