There’s plenty of TPMS compatible balance beads.

Maybe if you didn’t have Chinese tires you wouldn’t need Centramatics.
Long winded rant... lol... there was one sentence about it. It wasn't even screaming about it in all caps like your comments about it... However, you're easy to read and I absolutely knew you would come back with this... which is why I said it this way:

Plus, if it's important to you, no need to support Walmart of China, instead you can support Centramatic's of USA!
Go ahead and go back and read it...

It's interesting that you are clearly against anything made in China, yet you love to support (in your own words) "THE GREAT WALMART OF CHINA." Hypocrite much?

You are right though... this is getting better, but it's you that keeps digging yourself deeper. Just keep digging bud... even if you don't see it, everyone else here does.

I agree with this. And it's why I said in other threads that if these tires were made in the US, even a little bit, these tires would be even more popular than what they already are.

Yo Chadstick - take a picture of your tires showing the country of origin and throw it up here.
Sadly, mine are made in China.

As usual, you are making assumptions here. I have never said that I was proud of the fact that they were made in China. However, I am very happy with the tires. You may not be able to understand that, but there is a difference there. And to echo the above, as well as the many other threads, they are really great tires, and at least I know that I spent my money on a good product that is actually living up to it's claims. Funny enough, many folks praise some of the GY tires simply because they are made in the US, however, many reports point out they are actually pretty bad tires. There is more than just country of origin to consider...

I am more than happy to spend my money on products that are made in the US, but not at the expense of being a bad product. Maybe these companies that make SOME of their tires in the US can start making better tires... Speaking of which, which tire company are you supporting that is exclusively made in the US? All of these tire companies make tires all over the world, including China... so what is really the difference? Even those tires that are "made in the US" is typically made with rubber from some other country, such as China. So you are still supporting all these other countries.

Yet another issue to "worry about with beads or such..."

Sure, there are other products that do the same thing as Centramatics, but that doesn't make them better, or useful in all situations. And it's ok that you may not like a product... you're free to do so. But quit making up stuff or over exaggerating things to try and make them sound bad just so that you are happy. It doesn't work like that either... your feelings don't change facts... and that's a fact.

I don't find them loud or annoying. The only time I hear them at low speed is if I am driving through an area that has a wall/barrier that is close to the road that bounces back the noise. They sound like a soda can with some sand in it that is being rotated. It's nothing really. I suppose someone outside the truck may hear it and think something might be dragging but never really think about them. I didn't paint mine as I have chrome wheels. I installed mine in February 2020.

I must have bought the wrong part number, front ones rubbed the calipers and ripped them open with in 2 miles.
Left the rear ones on but 3 people flagged me down the first week in parking lots because they thought I had a tire
leaking .

Couldn’t tell a difference pulled them off pitched them in the dumpster.

300-318's come with a spacer for caliper clearance, did you use one?

Negative, wasn’t aware there was such a thing and honestly not sure I would have anyway, I didn’t like how it made the wheel studs so much shorter that the lug nuts were hardly fully seated.
We run heavy tool beds and I wasn’t about to bother with longer studs, wasn’t worth the hassle.

Made the wheel studs so much shorter???
They centramatics are very thin on the flanges, and the spacers are equally as thin, no way they make the studs so short the lugs wouldn't engage properly.
Also on the 300-318 set, one pair of the balancers have an offset made into the flanges to space them out for better clearance as well.
Maybe you got the wrong set, or they weren't installed correctly.

You guys that had put them on your trucks which part numbers did you get. I have 20 inch wheels on mine and it seems like that does make a little bit of a difference.

Take your truck or wheels and tires to an establishment that has a ROAD-FORCE balancer and have them balanced, cheaper and end of story.

Not around my area. BTDT, several times. I've sought out Road Force shops, got half-*** balance jobs. I've even offered to pay extra if the tech would spin the tire 180* on the wheel if needed vs adding a pile of weights, they look at you like you've got a 3rd eyeball. EVERY place around here is a half-*** job. Get you in / out, take your money and get the next one on the rack. I've lived in this area (central KY) for 20 years and have never found a place that does a GOOD balance job. Big O Tire had a guy several years ago that did a GOOD balance job on 2 of our vehicles, but next time I went, he was gone.

I've honestly thought about buying my own balance machine to do it myself.

I had to use the spacers on the front wheels.

When I put my Falkens on I went to a mom and pop shop and they used a regular machine and got it right the first time. No need for road force balancing if the techs know what they are doing... and have good tires to work with!

If you need Centramatics to balance tires on a pickup, you have something else way out of balance. 😵‍💫
