Hey everyone,A few days ago I slammed my driver side door like a dumb*ss and haven't been able to open it since,Does anyone see any issues with the mechanism inside? If not is there a way I can manually trip the door latch and open it? This truck has 460k miles and I wanna see how long i can keep it going Thank you.

 

The latch being locked wouldn’t matter when using the inside handle so I assume you have tried that. If you can get your hand side the door you can try pulling on the rod for either inside or outside handle. I don't know how the door opened and closed before you slammed it. If the hinges are bad, it could be stuck on the striker and need more force from inside the truck to pop it free.
