Good afternoon. I have been having issues with my 2015 6.7 in regards to boost letting off and high ebp. Basically, when getting on the throttle, mainly highway speeds, and I let off, boost builds to about 10psi and ebp reads 50-60 psi until when the turbo switches to open loop and which case it drains off. Ebp sensor is fairly new and tube has been cleaned. Map sensor is less than a year old and cleaned. Those readings are close to barometric pressure, sometimes 1psi apart but im not sure if that plays a roll in this. New cac pipe a d the hot side doesn't appear to be leaking terribly. My vgt dc and vgt position dont really line up either which makes me think this may be sticking vanes. The truck is also a little sluggish when warm but builds boost well when cold, however, the high ebp and boost when letting off is constant. Any help is appreciated.
Have you checked the 6 o clock position of the intercooler to throttle body hose….common air leak once the hose cracks
also….i had intermittent boost related readings fluctuations and it turned out my worm drive hose clamps were slipping off their gears…I would tighten…things would be good…they get loose again….repeat. I replaced all my air flow hose clamps with t bolt clamps and things have been stable with no more clamp getting loose.
do you have any scan codes? I am curious if you also have egr related scan codes that you did not mention.
also..if you at this point and still no clues…what are all your emission readiness codes that are not in ready mode?

I have an S and B cac pipe installed and a stock hot side. I have one on back order but i cant see any issue with the hotside boots other than some oil residue coming from where it connects to intercooler which is why i ordered a new one. No codes pertaining to this issue on forscan. I do have one that popped up intermittently for a steering column issue. My vgt position and vgt duty cycle seem to be sporadic and constantly adjusting too.
