Question more boost

Hello all good to be back I am looking to get more boost out of my turbo I see the mod with the zener diode that looks easy but do I need to put a pressure regulator in as well. If so where do I pu the presssure regulator at. Any help would be great thanks.

I think the zener diode thing your are talking about is a way to fool your map sensor from seeing too much boost, setting the SES light, and defueling the truck. It in itself will not get you any more boost. I run a small regulator in the line that runs to the map sensor, set so the sensor will not see too much boost.

The easiest way to coax a tad more boost out of your ride is to dis-able your wastegate. Real easy - take the red line off the wastegate actuator (over on the intake side of the turbo) and push it onto one of your intercooler clamp bolts, just to plug it up. Your all set - the wastegate will still blow open before you'd ever hurt the truck, but it will not open so early and bleed off boost the way it does when it is working.
