Boost pressure gone????

OK yall!!! This is a wierd deal!!! today I disconnected the red line from my Bighead wastegate and caped it off on the intake hose clamp and hooked up my boost guage directly to the wastegate and had absolutly 0 boost pressure!!!! No matter how hard I stomped on that peddle I still could not get that needle to move!! Come home, hook everything back up as normal and have boost pressure again!!! The other thing is that I did a 0-60 run today in 8.7 sec(wet roads) and boost will only reach 9 or 10 lbs of boost!! Is this problem originating from my MAP sensor??? and if so how can I fix it??

You can not read boost pressure off of the waste gate actuator like you are trying too! Keep the boost line hooked up to the airhorn like you had it.

Thanks pullinair! I quickly figured that one out but I still cannot get that darn boost past 10 psi!! everyone keeps saying Map sensor, But what needs done to the map sensor???

Before I would jump to checking electronics I would make sure there are no exhaust (uppipes) or boost (Boots) leaks and the compressor wheel is in good shape with no play in the shaft.
