I like to use touchless washes that also do undercarriage spraying to get the salt off - there are quite a few in my town, and even though this is an area with a lot of DRW diesels there is not a single one that can accommodate them.
I think the "Classic" auto group here in Lake county will swallow a DRW, but they are not touchless. So an immediate no-go for me.
I have a subscription to the touchless wash rain sleet, snow I still go at least twice a week just to get the salt off the frame and it does make you feel better when it looks clean ish
Soooo glad we don't have too much salt or brine on the streets in TX, maybe in the panhandle, but not DFW, Houston, Austin, or San Antone. Funny how a clean truck feels like it drives better...
My Texas truck at ~13 year old still looks new except for drivers side leather and steering wheel is showing wear with 325k miles.
I have been looking at them for years and cannot decide if they are all junk or if there are some actual quality options in the mix. No car washes near me fit a dually and in NE Ohio we use salt on the roads like it is going out of style.
I just bought a second wand and threaded a 45* elbow on the end and moved the quick coupling to the other side of the 45*
I can pick the wand I want depending on what I am doing.
