Making use of some time going through my stash and came across this wiper switch that obviously was placed in the wrong box...
It definitely is a Cole Hersee switch extremely similar to what should be there, but unlike what should be in the box, this has a bi-metal contact - possibly for intermittent wipe. I don't have any Cole Hersee or related catalogs that would help further identify this... Thoughts?
I can't give you a part number, but my understanding of the bi-metal contact is that it is a circuit breaker protecting the wiper motor and wiring if the wiper is stopped. (Frozen to the windshield, etc.)
