Just bought a 2026 F-250 Lariat (premium and ultimate packages) and getting ready to install the trailer TPMS sensors in my Airstream. Is the truck prewired for the module or do I need to order the Base Trailer Harness Kit (p/n PC3Z15A416B)?
Search the forum Posts using the search term "trailer TPMS" and you will find a litany of facts and frustration. I am in a similar hunt, and with the VIN for my 2024 F350 Lariat WITH the ultimate tow package I have finally figured out that the parts needed for my VIN are: LC3Z-1A189-CH and -BH, courtesy of a Ford reseller web site with a chat function.
No thanks to the parts guy at our dealer who conferred with his boss and the two still did not have success. The only reason I am not now awaiting the delivery of said parts is the Ford web site hosed and would not accept payment. So I will go to the dealer Parts desk today with the proper (?) parts numbers in hand and try again. The online Ford parts purchasing experience was abysmal - logged in the account and intended to use points from a recent vehicle purchase to soften the shock; was pleased to see a 15% off code, and yet was unable to get the web page(s) to behave or even find the parts.
Following here to see if others have cracked the code...
I recent bought my 2026 F-250 having traded in a 2024 GMC 2500HD AT4. The GM trailer TPMS system is far easier, less costly (1/2 the price) and wireless. My dealer, and the local installer the dealer has connected me with have no clue what is going on. They believe that the wiring is included on the truck side and the module that comes with the sensors plugs into the harness. Of course, they want me to drive 30 minutes to them to confirm that the harness is part of the truck. Everything I have read indicates that a harness is needed on the trailer that connects to the included module and that this harness then plugs into the truck next to the 7 pole trailer socket.

Let us know what you find and that hopefully you find the solution. My truck is the same model, trim and options as yours and which should be delivered in next month. I plan to install the camera and trailer TPMS combo package (LC3Z-1A189-AJ) but that info is based on my limited research. Will be interested to hear what parts you end up with and how the install goes.
OK. Bit the bullet and went back to the local dealer parts store, in part because I am convinced I may have to return parts at some point in the process. The comms he got back from the mother ship parts warehouse indicate that my VIN requires the following part numbers, after all:
1. PC3Z-15A416-B Kit Trailer $175.00 (no YAW)
2. PC3Z-19G490-C Camera Asy $564.78
3. PC3Z-1A189-AB Kit - TPMS Sen $470.00
This after the online seller had indicated different "LC3Z" part numbers by VIN and had a 30% restocking charge (plus return shipping) if anything didn't work as planned.
Parts guy said these are made as ordered so may be a few weeks/month. I'll report back when more is known with parts in hand.
Look at the plug in the bed of your truck. If it has the 7 pin and 12 pin, You've got what you need in the truck. The trailer will need the TPMS and Camera and cable that connects to either in bed plug or bumper plug and runs under trailer for TPMS receiver and to back of trailer for camera.. The two kits I've bought have both inluded the 7/12 conversion for the rear bumper ( the bumper plug comes standard as a 7/4 plug., So you just switch out the recepticle. to a 7/12)
And yes, Nichols listed above is a GREAT resource for parts and information. My cable got snagged on something in my bed and a sharp turned tore it apart. Nichols sold me just the new cable vs having to buy a whole kit from Ford
I got all the cables , connectors , camera kit and tpms sensors when I ordered my 2025 KR . I installed camera and cables to make it work on my Bigfoot travel trailer. I took tires to Discount Tire and the installed the sensors . Did programming myself at home , all very easy and works very well . Love seeing the camera view on dash screen .
I have the 5th wheel prep package on my truck, so I have the 12 pin socket in my bed along with the 7 pole trailer socket. I assume the easiest thing to do would be to swap out the 7/12 plug in the bed with the 7/4 plug in the bumper? Can I use the harness that came with the 5th wheel prep package to run from the TPMS controller box to the 12 pin connector in the bumper? Is the connector on the controller box side correct? It looks like there are only 4 pins present on the 12 pin connector, will this harness work (p/n on the harness is MC3T-14B242-HA) with the TPMS?

I had to take out the 7/4 in bumper and add the 7/12 . My kit also came with an adapter in case I ever need a 4 pin connection. Trailer plugs into 7 pin and camera , tpms cable connects to 12 pin . I had separate cables one for camera I believe and one that was a combination for camera , tpms and yaw sensor. That’s what I used since I did all three . It’s been awhile since I did it so some things are fuzzy.
I believe the reciever for the TPMS is hard wired on the cable you install on the trailer. Mine was a "Y" cable that combined the Camera and the TPMS into one plug.
But I'm pretty sure it was just all one piece. From my truck plug to the camera and to the TPMS receiver.

Yes I forgot to mention the sensor and Y cable . I got do many things with my truck. I have a cable I didn’t use and also Blis to add to a trailer that I didn’t use .
