Long story short, I replaced my old run down FOM with a 72 c6 (PGB -AK6). I had the builder rebuild it and now I am facing this issue: the linkage arm is different, this one is pointing towards the top, I am guessing it’s a floor shift set up? My truck is a 67 F100 with column shifter. My question is what is this linkage out of and as far as I can tell, if I am getting full range of motion in all gear gates, would extending my stock linkage rod to fit between the gearshift lever and the transmission shift arm would that work? I really don’t want to drop the pan and the valve body to replace the shift arm… thank you in advance and my apologies for the bad quality of the pictures…
