I completely rebuilt my C6 and np205 and just got around to putting them back into my truck and as I go to hook up the column shift linkage it won't line up. And being the genius that I am I didn't take any photos before I pulled it so I have no idea what it's supposed to look like but the slip joint on the manual linkage isn't close to the hole on the linkage from the column.
Hopefully the photos make it clearer. Any photos of a linkage that is set up would be a great help. I have a 1977 f-150 4x4 if that clears anything up.
I think I may have screwed up when installing the manual linkage into the case but I hope I'm wrong. The linkage comes very close to the 2nd gear band adjustment when it's all the way forward.
