Hi I'm installing a c6 into my 66 352 ,I have an auto colomn from a 72 but I don't have the linkage between the colomn and the transmission does anyone have a photo of this part .it will give me an idea of what I need to make thanks.
Did this C6 you have come from a truck? You need the shift rod from a truck that had a C6 in it. Your transmission MUST have a manual lever for a truck. This is a manual lever from a 73 truck with a C6. If you do not have the correct manual lever in your trans the detents in the column will NOT line up with the detents in the transmission. There is another manual lever that will work it is stamped E0TP-CA It was used in 1980's trucks and forklifts. But it must be heated and bent up about15 degrees until it is parallel with the pan rail.
Jimmy NZ This rod is a junk yard/pick&pull. Lo_Kar sells an adjustable rod and that would be easily adaptable to your truck. Making one of these would be a PITA and take away from your effort. Sometimes it's just simpler to buy a replacement rather than screw around trying to re-invent the wheel.
