I didn't check voltage at the plug. Thats a good idea and will do so when the new housings show up. The leds i bought from headlight experts are junk. I think with a thicker o ring they would snug up in the housing socket. A bulb wiggling while one drives is irritating. I put the silverstars in that was an improvement. The led's were a white light and not a great color when it snows......for myself anyway. Been reading and watching info/videos from headlight revolution. I regret buying from headlight experts. I might call them and ask about a 4500k led. Going to check voltage, install new housings and see how the new Sylvania bulbs do. Was just looking for a better light as my night vision isn't as good as it used to be.

headlight revolution had several like that. Looked simple to use. They have detailed info on how to aim them too. Headlight experts 2 sentence instructions are wrong. They said to face them 12 & 6......they need to be faced 3 & 9. Doesnt matter how one clocks them if they aren't snug in the housing and wiggle when one hits bumps. I threw them away.
