Just found this guy out of tucson that makes these wrenches. Was thinking of sending him my canister off my fuel pump from my 76 c 750 to see if it fit as it looks like the same as a 390 pump.

Wow, that's great! Yes, it looks like it would work, assuming he's figured out the correct size, assuming they're all the same size, thank you for that info, that he's making them.

im hoping they are, which i think they are as he said he tried it on a 6cyl and 289 in a mustang.

I'm pretty confident that all (or almost all) of the Ford screw-on fuel-pump-mounted filter canisters are the same. They certainly look to be. I've had my hands on dozens over the years.

If that tool is made of metal, that's a good price, but I wouldn't buy one that's plastic.

it said it was cnc cut steel powder coated.
