Yes the temp is on the screen. I am thinking about this mod. I drive with the sideview cameras on the big screen 99% of the time.
With the temp on the dial, it is one less button for my wife to press when we are together.
Once you set the temp how often are you even adjusting it? Maybe a couple times here and there?
It still isn’t making sense because when you touch the temp dial I’m pretty sure it overrides and tosses it up on the screen anyways for a few seconds. It’s no more difficult to see it on the screen than a dial (that my hand will probably partially block anyways) and the cameras will take the screen back over before you know it. Hard to see how it’s worth the hassle to add them.
I understand from having them in my Raptors and Bronco FE etc, but at the end of the day the temp is right there on the screen. Seems like a pain for such an unnecessary thing - but to each their own.

Moving the temp dials does not interupt the camera screen on my 25.
It is a relatively small expense, less than $500. Enough to make the wife happy. She is too busy on her phone doing her own thing.
Who's got the part number??
(for the lower dash with the temps in the dials - with heated steering wheel, ventilated and cooled seats, dual zone control)
2024 F350 Platinum, and I can't stand having to change the screen to see temps. On the dial... simple and easy.
that would be cool, but the thing going from my F150 to my F250 that kind of pisses me off even more is that my F150 hid projector headlights F250 which is a way more expensive truck has LED reflector headlights because it's a lariat you would think a lariat would have projectors and not reflectors
Here's the thread where we documented the FORScan changes required to do this mod: LCD **** HVAC Module Mod
I've had this mod in my truck for over a year, now. The ***** look really nice, but they haven't meaningfully changed how I interact with the HVAC system (which is rare, anyway, and most of the time I look at the Sync 4 screen).
If you do this mod, you will lose the ability to update HVAC module software in FDRS. FDRS knows it's not the right module for your truck and will inhibit flashing. If there's a way to bypass this, I haven't seen it.
I'd rather have the ability to update the module software, so I'm going back to stock. Maybe I'll change my mind again in the future, but for now, I'm practicing what I preach when it comes to form vs function.
This equation for everyone will be different. There really isn't a right or wrong answer. If you have the means and the knowhow to do it, and you want it, that seems to me to be more than enough reason to do it.
