Heat a/c problem

I have a 99 Eb expo with the digital electronic control, and for the past few days I have noticed that when I lower the temp, put the ac on max or set the temp in auto the temp coming out ls hot as if the temp is set to 90. If I put the fan on the lowest setting and the temp is set to 60 the temp drops very little but until I put the fan speed back up then it is hot again. Would this be the blend damper? Any feedback will help thanks

If the teperature in the vehicle is lower than the temperature you ask for on the controls, the air will be hot or warm until it is at the temperature you requested, the it will be cooler to maintain the requested temperature. That is how the atc (automatic temperature control) is supposed to work. Dan.

I do understand that it works like that, So why is it that when I set the temp to 60 the air temp coming out of the vent does not change and is the same temp as if it is set to 90?

Sounds like the blend door issue. HeaterTreaterweb3
