All this food looks good, but I am sticking to my Hungry Man turkey dinner. May go to the store tomorrow and buy a pie, but not sure yet.

alittle story , well my wife’s bird got out , yes I ment for the front door to be opened
, anyway the fire department was called to come get her bird out of the tree at night, they get there with the dimmest lite I ever seen , so I hit my stream lite , Walla instant day lite , wow the chief says , great lite now we don’t need the truck pole lite , which would most likely blind anything within 1/4 mile but that lite is 2nd closest 👍
As a working flashlight, it's great. Extremely bright. Just right for looking down dark alleys, and entering unlit buildings. Rechargeable. It could sit in the car charger as you're riding around. Made In USA. Affiliate dealers were able to provide warranty service. Every part is available in case you need to replace something that was damaged.
For a homeowner, this is not the light. It's too expensive. The lamp unit is too expensive to replace when it burns out. The batteries are proprietary, and too expensive. One proprietary battery will cost more than buying a new Mag-Lite. And in the event of a power outage, natural disaster, or civil unrest, you would need infrastructure to charge it. You simply can't go looting or scavenging for Streamlight rechargeable batteries..
For the homeowner, I would suggest a Mag-Lite. Made In USA. Lifetime Warranty. If you drop it, run it over with your car, or whatever....... you can call Mag-Lite and they will have every part available. I have a couple of the D battery models around the house, and I still carry around a AA battery Mini Mag-Lite in my pocket. Maybe because when I was growing up, Mag-Lite was the best thing that you could buy. That was before lithium batteries and LED technology.
There are other brands on the market. You can buy a ton of LED flashlights online. Amazon, eBay, Ali Baba...... all at around $10. Most will advertise to be brighter, and cost less. Usually Made In China, with no product support. That's important to me. I want to be able to call in, get warranty service, or parts replacement. Even better if they have a local service center, where I can walk in for parts. Ever open up a flashlight to change the battery, and a spring goes flying? Ever drop a light, and the lighting element gets broken? Ever cracked the lens? Or you own the light long enough, and the rubber 0-rings are deteriorating and crumbling apart .That little rubber cap over the switch is missing or broken. The switch itself doesn't work anymore.
Maybe it doesn't matter if you have a light cost less than $10. If your flashlight costs less than your Big Mac Meal, then you're not concerned about things like reliability, durability, and lifetime warranties.
For you guys out in the country, where you need to see across an open field, there are probably other options to consider. I would imagine that a spotlight would be better than a flashlight.

Accidents happen. Not your fault. It's an imperfect world. Doors get left open. Pets escape. My girl lost her cat that way.......... And I'm sticking to that story. The door was slightly ajar, and the cat slipped out.

I haven't seen one yet. At the price point, I hope that the individual civil service employees are not paying themselves.
