The fault is set off by parking on out of level ground with the DS front wheel in a low area, lower that the other wheels. The door latch striker is a little out of alignment, hitting on the high side and causing a little paint wear on the ' catch' ( whatever its called) on the body.
Move the vehicle to flat ground ( asphalt or concrete) and open- close door, light goes out.
Parked it out of level last night at 11 PM, locked normally then at 5 AM the alarm went off, it must have opened the sensor and thought it was a break in. Moved it to its normal parking spot, had to open- close the door twice to get the warning message to extinguish.
Mine started doing this last week. Surface grade doesn't seem to make a difference. Slammed the drivers door real hard and the interior lights finally went off.
I believe the door striker has a little adjustment/play that you can make. Perhaps move it inward to cause the door to close and latch tighter. Also check your door hinges by grabbing the latch side of the door then move up/down and see if there is play in the hinge?
