92 X clunk when hit bump while braking

92 X clunk when hit bump while braking

If I go over a bump while depressing my brake pedal, I hear a clunk from under the car. It's been doing this for a long time, but I wonder what it is.

It could be the radius arm bushings, although it would more related to going over the bump than hitting the brake. Do you get the same sound going over the bump without hitting the brake?

No, just with the brake. It almost seems like it comes from under my feet.

It might be your caliper slides grabbing when you brake. I have this happen when going downhill. Try some caliper slide rail grease on the slides and see if that quiets the thunk.
