i purchased a 2017 ford f150 limited with the 3.5L Eco-boost motor in June of 2021 with less than 18,000 miles. that year ford issues 21B10. which was not done by the dealer. therefore, the engine was not covered for a reflash and the subsequent 21N03 CSP. now the phaser (VCT units) are shot, noise and check engine lights. What can be done to get Ford and the dealer to fix this issue.
21N03 ended in 2023, so wouldn't help you any way. The best thing you can do is call their customer support line, state your case and hope they compromise on the repair costs. Being it is well out of the warranty period, you will be better taking it to an independent repair shop than a dealer.
