Cruise Control Not Working
I recently replaced a leaky water crossover gasket and when I was all done under the hood I noticed my cruise control wasn’t functioning.
Did I knock something loose perhaps? I checked fuses #46, #76 and #10 (as per a suggestion from a previous thread) and still nothing.
What do y’all think? It’s something super simple, right? 😄

100% fly-by-wire system, doesn't use vacuum for the speed control. Vacuum speed controls went away in the 90s on Fords.

Do you have a scan tool or comparable that can read PCM PIDs? Need to see what the PCM is "seeing".
For easy stuff, I'd suggest checking operation of the BPP switch.
If the engine drives normally, there's nothing under the hood to knock loose that can affect only the speed control.

Is Forscan a decent scan tool? I installed the free one-month trial to turn off my tire pressure gauge back in the Spring. Should I re-subscribe and do a test?
