This is an update on a previous post just wanted to to be specific to a PSC steering to make a search in the future easier. Anyways, while I cannot compare to a 6.7 box, which was my original plan, it is a vast improvement. The steering is tight and there is no more wandering.
i feel it was worth the time and effort. And it was a drop in replacement, no modifications needed.
While I at it, i also replace everything on the power steering system except the cooler.
Summit Racing, though it shipped directly from PSC.

Just an update, been driving with it now for a bit, including towing a moderate weight (approx 9000lbs travel trailer) for about 800 miles. It is nice. The steering is tight, truck tracks straight with next to zero wander.
it was totally with the extra money over a rebuilt and no mods needed like a 6.7 box.
FYI it is ported already for an assist cylinder. And I I do run 35 inch tires.

You running a steering stabilizer at all like single stock or aftermarket dual unit?
When I put in my first used 6.7 box I had the stock single and Rancho dual in place then shortly took out the single unit and after 10,000kms or so that box was trash.
Second used 6.7 box I went with just the upper and after a trip on the highway I pulled it off and steering has been AMAZING since. Zero bump steer, zero wandering and tracks straight as an arrow and no issues with large bumps or when off roading.
Personally I think steering stabilizers cause premature failure of the gearboxes especially the stock POS 6.0 units, but that's just my opinion. I'm running 285/75r8 Duracraps with an 8'' lift and I can turn the steering wheel with one finger while on concrete and I've got an overdrive pulley I'm yet to install that's supposed to improve steering pressure by 10% so that will be interesting to see if I ever get around to installing it lol
