What’s the difference between these two parts?

Possibly pintle length.

cx1666 1989-1995 (trucks)
cx1854 1995-1996 (vans cars trucks)

Ford makes at least three
They make one where the connector comes out the opposite side of the vent too
Dime a dozen at the junkyard
I have 3 good used ones my toolbox for testing

the truck was a 95 f150 xlt 302w 2wd. But I swapped out the 302 for a 351. The 351 came out of a 1995 f150 flair side 4x4. So I need the IAC valve for a 351w

I do see now the connector orientation does look a tad different between the two parts. I will check the orientation on my current throttle body before I proceed further

MAF or SD?

More than likely SD, so you probably need the cx1666.

You should use what matches the computer in use.

my truck is MAF. The 302 ECM was MAF so I had to convert that onto my 351. Just put on all the parts and put 302 wiring harness on the 351. Mass air flow 351. Works great
