Good morning, I bought this 03 6.0 with 100k miles that im starting to realize is nightmare. (I cant tell my girlfriend because she didn't want me to get it in the first place)
I have 3 contribution codes
p0269 cyl#3
p0272 cyl#4
p0275 cyl#5
I bought 8 Warren diesel injectors because im an idiot and decided to throw parts at it. Well 3,000$ later and i still have these codes even after resetting them with FORscan. Can someone please guide me in the right direction. I am DREADING low compression. Might actually admit myself to a mental institution if that's the case. All jokes aside,
The 3 contribution codes i had BEFORE the injectors were replaced were for
cyl#1
cyl#2
cyl#5
One cylinder remained and its #5
I can not run a buzz test, or contribution test with Forscan for whayever reason. Any ideas? Thanks

I can’t imagine a tune would cause contribution codes. Since the issue stayed with 5 I’d check the injector harness for damage. Make sure the connectors in the bottom of the FICM are tight and connectors are locked. Really need FORScan or another diagnostic tool to be working to help diagnose. I’d want to buzz test and turn injectors on and off.

I have and use Forscan. I do not get a CEL from the contribution codes. Also, buzz tests do not show in forscan on my 03. I've read the pcm doesnt allow them for whatever reason. Not sure how true that is.
You really need to get with someone who access to Ford IDS. Then you can run a power balance test, both compensated and uncompensated, and a relative compression test. Also, if yoi can run those test cold.
