‘66 windshield washer system
On a side note - when I wanted to add washers to my 59’, I found an NOS kit that had a foot-activated “pump” - no electric pump or switch. It was located near the headlight dimmer switch. A bit of a nuisance, but all I could find at the time
Of course, some like my 1966 F250 4x4 still used the bellow foot pump that @ibuzzard mentioned. The fancy electrical pump was only the 1966 2WD trucks and F100 4x4 in 1966.

Maybe a bit OCD but I've always loved new parts. Out with the old, in with the new.
Once I learned how to read the Ford parts books finding the parts was much easier.
Early on working with my uncle in his shop a 1969 Mach1 with 428CJ came in for some work. This was about 1976, so the car was only about 7 years old. It was T-totally thrashed. Lived a hard life in those few years before I saw it.
I decided any vehicle I restored I'd try to get as many new/NOS parts for them as possible.
I've got everything divided up as Ford did it in the books. One bin for each section, more bins if there were lots of parts in that section.
Bigger things like wheels, driveshafts, mufflers, etc. don't go in the bins

That said, and as I mentioned, I am a cabinet maker and I am in the process of trying to get everything lined up to build a new shop. One I hope that will be big enough so that when I can bring Lucy home (the aforementioned '66) I will have a place to tinker...restore...maybe a touch of restomod... and that brings me to ask...just how much space do you have to not only store, but so effortlessly retrieve your wonder plunder of FoMo parts?
